Who and what is XL Youth?
XL Youth is the youth department of The Bridge Church. A growing, vibrant, family and community focused church. We believe in empowering young people to 'Live Life Large' in finding the plan God has for their life.
What happens on a Friday night at XL?
The chances are you've found our website because your son or daughter has been to XL Youth on a Friday evening at The Bridge. We have a whole range of activities throughout the week including activities and schools work but our Friday nights are our 'flagship' program.
Doors open at 7:30pm and our cafe is open for young people to catch up, buy a drink or a snack and just hang out before taking their seats in the main hall. Content varies from program to program, but the rest of the evening will generally involve loud, contemporary worship with the XL Band, videos, music, challenges, giveaways, drama, Bible based relevant life teaching and shamelessly having a laugh!
Where does it happen?
Most of our projects, including XL Youth on a Friday, happens at The Bridge Community Venue, 208 Maybank Road, South Woodford, London, E18 1ET.
Who runs XL Youth?
Jon Jarvis is the Youth Pastor for The Bridge Church and he, with his wife Louise (pictured), oversee all activities for young people at The Bridge and The Bridge Church. They are aided by an excellent team of volunteers who are all CRB checked and can be clearly identified on a Friday by their 'Staff' badges.
